Teach vocal techniques, music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, pitch, and performance skills
Develop students? confidence, creativity, teamwork, and appreciation for music
Select age-appropriate choral music for rehearsals and performances
Conduct daily rehearsals and prepare students for concerts, festivals, and school events
Assess student progress through performances, participation, and classroom assignments
Maintain an organized, positive, and respectful classroom environment
Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies and expectations
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and varying skill levels
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success

Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into music instruction when appropriate
Encourage student participation in extracurricular music opportunities such as honor choir or talent showcases
Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
Ensure student safety and supervision during rehearsals, performances, and field trips
