Construction & Skilled Trades

Responsibilities:


  • Enforce company safety policies

  • Issue, receive, and store hand tools and equipment

  • Maintain inventory of all tools and order new equipment as needed

  • Keep records of tools issued to employees

  • Report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment

  • Use computer to enter and track tool transactions

  • Clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on tools or equipment

  • Coordinate with field employees to ensure timely delivery of tools

  • Keep work area clean and organized

  • Maintain high quality and productivity standards

  • Assist other departments as needed based on workload


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Florida driver's license

  • In-depth knowledge of duct fabrication and installation systems

  • Understanding of HVAC systems and related supporting utilities

  • Ability to work independently without supervision

  • Strong leadership and employee management skills


Work Environment:


  • Physical tasks include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders

  • Daily walking and lifting of 50 pounds or more

  • Use of upper extremities for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling materials

  • Use of torso and lower extremities for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting
