Construction & Skilled Trades

Responsibilities:


  • Receive materials and process accompanying paperwork

  • Ensure purchase order boards are kept up to date

  • Coordinate deliveries according to departmental needs

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse

  • Enforce company safety policies

  • Perform maintenance on shop vehicles

  • Assist the shop supervisor as needed

  • Coordinate and maintain company tools and tool records

  • Assist other departments as needed based on workload


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • In-depth knowledge of fiberglass and sheet metal fabrication

  • Understanding of HVAC/R systems and related supporting utilities

  • Ability to work independently without supervision

  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate team members

  • Ability to process shipping and receiving paperwork accurately


Work Environment:


  • Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders

  • Daily walking and lifting of 20 pounds or more required

  • Use of upper extremities for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling, and material handling

  • Use of torso and lower extremities for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting
