Marc Security Services LLC is seeking a professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officer to staff a campus front entrance. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and controlled access point for staff, visitors, and vendors.
The officer will be stationed at a guard building equipped with a gate system, computer, and phone, and will be responsible for monitoring and controlling entry to the campus.
Key Responsibilities
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in security or law enforcement.
- Proven track record of handling firearms safely and effectively.
- Experience in surveillance and monitoring activities.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
- Excellent observational and situational awareness skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid firearms license and certification.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform security duties effectively.

- Monitor and control access at the campus entrance gate
- Check in and verify visitors, vendors, and deliveries
- Maintain accurate visitor logs using a computer system
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security concerns
- Ensure all individuals entering the property are authorized
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site rules
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Previous gatehouse or access control experience
- Experience working in a campus, residential, or corporate environment
- Stationed at a guard building at the front entrance
