Job Summary

Salary:

$21 per Hour

Performs skilled plumbing work focused on maintaining and repairing infrastructure within a high-demand arena environment, including the Kia Center and other facilities across Orlando Venues. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on a wide range of plumbing systems such as restroom fixtures, grease traps, irrigation systems, water heaters, boilers, gas lines, and other critical plumbing assets that support large-scale events.

Installs, assembles, and repairs plumbing systems in accordance with industry best practices and applicable specifications, ensuring reliability and performance in high-traffic, event-driven settings. Work is performed under general supervision and evaluated through inspections, direct observation, and overall facility condition. This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in support of scheduled events and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and Two years' experience in general building maintenance and plumbing required. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

· Experience in plumbing maintenance, installation, and repair work

· Knowledge of standard plumbing practices, materials, tools, and safety procedures

· Ability to diagnose and repair plumbing systems and equipment

Journey Level competency training preferred.

· Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces

THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

  • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;

  • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
  • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
