Instructional Coaching
Model effective math teaching strategies in classrooms.
Observe teachers and provide feedback to improve instruction.
Co-plan lessons with teachers aligned to state standards.
Support differentiated instruction for diverse learners.
Assist teachers with classroom management strategies related to math instruction.
Professional Development
Facilitate professional learning communities (PLCs).
Provide training on new math curriculum, instructional practices, and assessment tools.
Lead workshops on best practices in mathematics education.
Support teachers in understanding and implementing district initiatives.
Data Analysis
Analyze assessment data to identify student strengths and areas for growth.
Help teachers use data to drive instructional decisions.
Monitor student progress throughout the school year.
Assist with intervention planning for students who are struggling.
Curriculum Support
Ensure alignment of instruction with state standards and district curriculum.
Help develop pacing guides, lesson plans, and instructional resources.
Support the integration of technology into math instruction.
Review and recommend instructional materials and resources.
Student Achievement Support
Coordinate and monitor math intervention programs.
Assist with enrichment opportunities for advanced students.
Support preparation for state and district assessments.
Promote mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
Collaboration and Leadership
Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and district personnel.
Participate in school improvement planning.
Help establish goals for mathematics achievement.
Serve as a resource and mentor for new and veteran teachers.
