Sales Development Manager (Hybrid- Tampa, FL)
About ClearGov
ClearGov is building the modern financial operating layer for the public sector. We help local governments and school districts plan, budget, report, and communicate their finances with clarity and confidence. From long-term planning to financial reporting, compliance, and transparency, our platform connects the work finance teams are already doing and makes it easier to deliver for their communities.
As governments face growing pressure to do more with less, increase transparency, and meet complex reporting requirements, ClearGov provides the tools to simplify workflows, connect data, and reduce manual work across the entire financial lifecycle.
Today, more than 1,000 public sector organizations use ClearGov, and we continue to expand our platform and reach as we grow.
Core Values
How we show up matters just as much as what we build.
We're looking for a Sales Development Manager (SDM) with a zeal to win, a kind heart, an unwavering team spirit, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humor to join our rapidly growing team.

As the SDM, you will hire, coach, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), working closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure a steady, high-quality flow of new qualified opportunities for our Account Executives.
The SDR team often has the first (and therefore the most important) opportunity to make a positive impression on a prospect, so you will be responsible for building the systems, coaching, and culture that set the stage for effective sales follow-up across every rep on your team.
The successful candidate will be a proven people leader with high energy, strong sales instincts, a team-first mentality, and the grit and perseverance to build a team from the ground up. You will be a key player on an incredible team as we execute our mission to help local governments and school districts be better.
