About CT Mechanical
CT Mechanical is a commercial mechanical contractor and proud division of Comfort Temp Company, one of Florida's most established mechanical contractors. We build and operate large-scale plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems for commercial and industrial clients across the state.
Our Gainesville office is growing, and we are looking for a Production Manager who can lead from the front. Someone who knows how plumbing work actually gets done, can hold a team accountable, and keeps production moving without needing to be managed themselves.
The Role
This is a hands-on field leadership position. You will be responsible for turning project plans into real jobsite production - managing manpower, supporting your superintendents and foremen, removing obstacles, and making sure work gets done safely, on time, and at a standard the company can be proud of.
You will also spend meaningful time at a desk. Tracking production data, managing staffing schedules, documenting field concerns, and communicating clearly with project managers and senior leadership are all part of this job. If you are only comfortable on a jobsite or only comfortable in an office, this role is not the right fit. We need someone who can do both well.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 90 days, you will have:
Longer term, success means field production is predictable, your team is held accountable with respect, problems get surfaced early, and work moves the way it is supposed to move.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership
Manpower and Scheduling
Production Tracking and Administration

Why CT Mechanical
We are a company that has been doing this a long time and doing it well. We take pride in the quality of our work and the stability we offer our teams. We are also growing, which means there is real opportunity here for someone who shows up, performs, and wants to build something over time.
This is not a role for someone looking to coast. It is a role for someone who wants ownership, accountability, and the satisfaction of watching a team and a market run the right way.
