Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will support providers and clinical teams by delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations in a fast-paced physician office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
- Obtain patient histories, vitals, and clinical information
- Perform routine lab procedures and prepare specimens for transport
- Follow up on test orders and communicate results to providers and patients
- Maintain and update patient electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide patient education materials and support patient inquiries
- Maintain medical equipment and order clinical supplies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations
- Support overall clinical workflow and patient care
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education - Required
- High School Diploma or GED
Certifications / Licensure - Required
- Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire
- OR active credential as EMT, NREMT, or Paramedic
- OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Experience
- Preferred: 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
