Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will provide patient-centered care, assist with clinical procedures, and support overall practice operations in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Obtaining patient histories, performing routine lab procedures, and preparing specimens for transport
- Following up on test orders and communicating results to providers and patients
- Providing and maintaining patient education materials
- Maintaining medical equipment and ordering clinical supplies
- Creating and maintaining patient electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations
- Supporting overall clinical workflow and patient care
- Performing other duties as assigned
Education
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
Required:
- Approved Medical Assistant Certification required within 6 months of hire date or proof of active license/certification
OR - EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician)
OR - Paramedic
OR - LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
