Travel: Required to travel to other locations as needed

Job Summary

Supports providers and clinical teams by assisting with patient care, performing clinical tasks, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations within a physician practice setting. Maintains accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service while supporting patient care and clinic workflow.

Role Overview

As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will provide patient-centered care, assist with clinical procedures, and support overall practice operations in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Obtaining patient histories, performing routine lab procedures, and preparing specimens for transport
  • Following up on test orders and communicating results to providers and patients
  • Providing and maintaining patient education materials
  • Maintaining medical equipment and ordering clinical supplies
  • Creating and maintaining patient electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations
  • Supporting overall clinical workflow and patient care
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience

Preferred:

  • 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
Licensure / Certification

Required:

  • Approved Medical Assistant Certification required within 6 months of hire date or proof of active license/certification
    OR
  • EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician)
    OR
  • Paramedic
    OR
  • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
