Instructional Support Responsibilities
Assist the teacher with implementing daily instructional activities and lesson plans
Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning concepts
Support early literacy, language development, math readiness, and social-emotional learning
Prepare instructional materials, learning centers, and classroom activities
Assist with classroom technology and educational resources
Support students during play-based and hands-on learning activities
Student Supervision & Behavioral Support
Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, meals, recess, rest time, and dismissal
Support classroom management and positive behavior strategies
Encourage social interaction, communication, and self-help skills
Assist students with following routines and classroom expectations
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Personal Care Responsibilities
Assist students with toileting, diapering, and personal hygiene needs
Change diapers and soiled clothing in accordance with district health and sanitation procedures
Support toilet training and self-care skill development
Assist students with feeding during breakfast, lunch, snacks, or medically required feeding routines
Monitor students during meals to ensure safety and appropriate nutrition
Assist students with handwashing, dressing, and other daily living activities as needed
Follow all health, safety, confidentiality, and infection-control procedures
