Position Title: Financial Advisor

A growing wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to guide retirees, pre-retirees, high-net-worth individuals, and business owners through comprehensive retirement and financial planning. This role focuses on meeting with pre-qualified prospects, conducting discovery, developing customized financial strategies, presenting recommendations, closing new business, and building long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor or in a similar client-facing financial services role, an active Series 65 or Series 66 license, and a proven ability to confidently present recommendations and close business. This is an excellent opportunity for an advisor who wants significant earning potential and a strong pipeline of qualified appointments without spending their time cold calling or prospecting.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / annually, DOE

Responsibilities
  • Meet with pre-qualified prospective clients to understand their financial goals, retirement plans, assets, and concerns
  • Conduct comprehensive discovery meetings and identify retirement, investment, estate, tax, and insurance planning opportunities
  • Develop and present customized financial strategies based on each client's individual goals and circumstances
  • Educate clients on recommended financial solutions and confidently guide them through the decision-making process
  • Convert qualified opportunities into new client relationships while maintaining a consultative, client-first approach
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients while partnering with internal planning, service, and operations teams
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and stay current on financial products, planning strategies, and industry trends

Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor or in a similar client-facing financial services role
  • Active Series 65 or Series 66 license required
  • Strong track record of presenting financial recommendations and closing new business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and financial planning software
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and conduct client meetings in the office
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • CFP designation and experience with holistic or education-based financial planning preferred
