This position serves as a key administrative and operational liaison between the Facilities department, clinical departments, department heads, vendors, contractors, etc.
- Coordinate and track facility maintenance and repair requests through the organization's work order management system.
- Monitor work orders from initiation through completion, ensuring requests are appropriately assigned, scheduled, updated, and closed in a timely manner.
- Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency, operational impact, patient safety, life-safety requirements, and departmental needs.
- Schedule routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities with Facilities staff, vendors, contractors, and department representatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of work performed, including labor, materials, vendor services, completion dates, and outstanding items.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women's Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge of working in a healthcare facility required.
- Must be organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while prioritizing responsibilities and duties.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, tactfully, clearly, and concisely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality on all matters.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting.
- Proficient in MS Office and computer-related tasks.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
