Position Overview
This Adjunct Faculty member teaches Physical Therapy Assistant courses.
What you will be doing
- Teaches courses in lecture, laboratory and/or clinical settings
- Evaluates and advises students
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor's degree in any field and an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting; and Valid State of Florida Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant licensure; and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field
- All degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Possess basic computer skills
- Ability to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
