Aging with Dignity (AWD) is a national nonprofit 501c3 organization with a mission to safeguard the God-given human dignity of the most vulnerable among us. It is America's leader in planning for end-of-life care while maintaining human dignity. AWD's Five Wishes advance care planning program has more than 43 million users around the world, is available in 32 languages, and is distributed by more than 10,000 organizations. The mission of AWD was inspired by the life and work of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, specifically her legacy of love, compassion, and concern for the least among us.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Executive (SAE) will work from the AWD office in Tallahassee, FL. This role comes with three primary areas of focus: account retention and growth, new business development, and customer success/sales processing, with approximate time allocations of 20% account retention,60% new business, and 20% customer success.
The SAE reports to the President of Five Wishes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Retention & Growth
- Thoroughly understand the needs, challenges, and goals of the SAE's assigned "book of business"
- Follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) for Five Wishes sales engagement, including the minimum number of account contacts for each period
- Generate creative ideas to engage with assigned accounts and stimulate growth
- Report outcomes from these efforts that support overall sales goals
New Account Identification & Development
- In coordination with the Five Wishes president, identify target customers or sectors for new business
- Create and maintain a list of Opportunities and Leads
- Implement creative engagement routines with identified leads
- Report regularly on the sales pipeline, identifying the leads that converted to sales
Customer Success & Sales Processing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and target sectors related to customer success and order processing
- Assist with other order processing, as requested, and use those interactions to increase sales
- Demonstrate professionalism and subject matter expertise in all correspondence
Mission Champion: Actively contributes to carrying out the mission of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Demonstrated measurable success in achieving or exceeding annual sales or fundraising goals
- Proven multi-year track record of creatively engaging with customers/donors in ways that inspire loyalty and revenue growth
- Ability to effectively utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or related software, and ability to learn new technology
- Experience working in a professional office environment and the ability to interact at a professional level with colleagues and external contacts
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and balance competing priorities.
- Awareness of matters that require discretion and confidentiality; takes initiative, is personable, and demonstrates professionalism.
- Technological proficiency required in the Microsoft Suite/Microsoft 365.
