High School Dual Enrollment Program

Responsibilities
  • This position is responsible for managing the enrollment, retention, and success of dual enrollment students while administering operational processes, assessment activities, and academic program support for Undergraduate Studies initiatives, including CoreFSU, living-learning communities, faculty credentialing, and related academic operations.
  • Leads communication and correspondence with 40-60 high school students, students' guardians/parents, as well as school counselors throughout the year. Manages dual enrollment admissions process by communicating with school counselors, students, family members, and the Registrar's Office. Creates and manages application materials through Qualtrics. Communicates about student enrollment with other FSU departments such as the Registrar's Office and FSU Student Finance. Coordinates purchase of textbooks and other instructional materials. Initiates and leads revisions to dual enrollment documents, procedures, and website. Maintains accurate dual enrollment records and supporting documentation. Conducts Orientation presentations.
  • Supports faculty and curricular operations by preparing instructional and training materials, maintaining and verifying student and faculty records, supporting academic placement exams and credentialing processes, and ensuring compliance with University requirements.
  • Coordinates select operational activities for Living-Learning Communities, including administering the annual Living-Learning Communities survey and maintaining survey records, maintaining accurate program and enrollment records, verifying student enrollment in required LLC courses, assisting with updates to course offerings, and identifying enrollment or scheduling discrepancies for follow-up. Coordinates with LLC staff and academic partners to support timely and accurate program administration.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets program and student data to support operational decision-making, monitor program effectiveness, identify trends, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of UGS academic programs and services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in higher education or related field
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience professionally serving as an advisor to youth
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, school counselors and campus partners
  • Experience with Excel
  • Attention to detail and the highest standard of integrity are imperative
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously

Anticipated Salary Range

Starting at $44,056, commensurate with education and experience.
