Medical Case Manager I
Must be willing to travel throughout immediate metropolitan and surrounding areas. Mileage reimbursed. Equipment provided. Work from home. Candidates must be well-versed in MS Office programs. Candidate must display strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsible for the assessment and development of comprehensive case management plans, to include coordination of medical care for Workers’ Compensation claimants. Works closely with the injured worker, adjusters, medical providers, employers, and attorneys to ensure appropriate medical care, medical rehabilitation, and return to work. Requires excellent assessment skills. Must be able to develop and foster excellent working relationships with referral sources. Case managers must be proactive and assertive in implementation of treatment plans and resolution.
- MUST hold an unencumbered RN license in the State of Florida.
- Must have CCM certification, or be able to obtain within 24 months of hire.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
- Vocational experience or credentials preferred, but not required.
